Capturing 3D Likenesses of Oneself or Loved Ones (Philadelphia, PA) Even the person who has everything doesn’t have this yet...a 3D printed portrait of themselves or loved ones. Just opened in Old City is PeoplePrints 3D, the region’s first 3D portrait studio and one of the first of its kind to open in America. Using state-of-the-art 3D photo technology and 3D printer, the company will make an accurate 3, 5, 7 or 9 inch portrait of one to four people. Even people and pets can be photographed, if they can stay still for 3 or 4 seconds. Owner Julian Rinaldi believes this technology will disrupt ordinary 2D photography because it is fun, hi-tech and more accurately captures the person and their personality. For the holiday season, the company is offering gift certificates for portraits. Says Rinaldi, “Imagine, having a 3D portrait of your family on your desk at the office. It’s fun to look at and is a real conversation starter.” Rinaldi has many portrait ideas, such as student athletes, wedding cake toppers, people in costumes and others. The studio is located at 20 S. 3rd St., Philadelphia, PA 19106. No appointment is necessary, except for large groups. Phone 267-273-1157. Website: www.PeoplePrints3D.com
